• For instance, in October 2023, the CPI with Base 2016 was 138.4. Using the linking factors, this was converted to 11058 for the Base Year 1949.

• The average CPI for this period was calculated to be 11097, which indicates an increase from the previous period’s average of 10942.

• The notification highlights an increase of 155 points in the average indices for the period under review compared to the previous period.
